What the main Balay Romantic codes indicate

Warnings E02 and F43 usually point to an issue with the motor. E61 usually indicates an electronic fault, and changing programmes will not repair it. Turn the appliance off, unplug it and do not remove the rear panel. It is also wise to request an inspection when there are leaks, sparks, a burning smell, persistent metallic noise or a code that returns after filters and connections have been checked.

A reset may clear an occasional warning, but it will not repair a blocked pump, faulty door lock or damaged control board. Write down the exact code, any additional symbols and the point in the cycle where it appears; this information helps distinguish a supply problem, blockage and internal fault.
